Teachers

As a Breakthrough Summer Teaching Intern or Mentor Teacher, you will have the opportunity to help low-income middle school students reach their goal of becoming the first in their families to graduate from college.
Every summer, Breakthrough Austin hires Summer Teaching Interns and Mentor Teachers for our academic Summer Programs at UT and Manor.
The Breakthrough Summer Teaching Internship is an incredible opportunity for outstanding high school and college students to lead their own classroom and inspire middle school students who are working to become the first in their families to graduate from college. Breakthrough Mentor Teachers are outstanding educators who serve as mentors for Breakthrough’s Teaching Interns (ages 16-23).
