Breakthrough appreciates the outstanding efforts of the community to help provide the best possible quality programming for our students. We also are thankful for the understanding that Breakthrough’s budget — while focused on delivering what our students need most — is limited. Your generosity will allow us to provide the tools and services that will supplement the skills of our case managers, tutors, mentors, and teachers. Please consider fulfilling an item or two from our wish list below.
Supplies/Materials:
- Alarm clocks/egg timers
- Art supplies (scissors, paint, markers, construction paper, tape, etc)
- Backpacks
- Binders and binder dividers
- Bottled water
- Cardstock
- College-rule looseleaf paper
- Colored paper
- Composition books
- Digital cameras
- Digital video camera to document our program activities
- Document shredder
- Flash drives
- Glue sticks
- Gift certificates to clothing stores for students in need
- Graphing calculators (Texas Instruments model: TI-84)
- Healthy snacks (granola bars, raisins, etc.)
- Multi-subject notebooks (with holes for binder)
- One-subject spiral notebooks (with holes for binder)
- Paperback books for 7th-12th grade reading levels
- Pens/pencils
- White copy paper
- Paper towels
In-Kind Professional Services:
- Technical support from someone knowledgeable with WordPress
- Food preparation/catering services (serving breakfast or lunch during summer)
- Moving equipment and/or services
- Basic tech support skills (setting up computers, printers, etc.)
- Catering and production of signage for Breakthrough programs and events
