Breakthrough’s results are strong. Over 74% of Breakthrough high school graduates are enrolled in college, almost double the number of students with similar backgrounds. Our students’ achievements have been exciting and affirming, and we are proud to have substantial community support for our students and program. But the hard reality is that there are more students who deserve our help than we can currently serve. To meet this need, Breakthrough is growing. In 2002, Breakthrough began in Austin with 41 students. Currently, we serve over 500 students. In the next three years we will grow to serve more than 750 students in Central Texas.
There is much to accomplish to create the college graduates Texas needs. Your support is important. I hope you will invest in our students through a financial contribution. Doing so will change a child’s life forever and will impact his or her family for generations to come.
